The favours you do, kept on the books
Customer credit you won't forget
Let a regular settle later and the balance sits on their record, not in your head. Next time they're in, you can see what's owed and take a repayment toward it, so being generous doesn't mean losing money.
Staff advances, handled fairly
When someone needs money before payday, give the advance and log it. Hajza tracks what is outstanding and every repayment, part by part, so it's clear for both sides and nobody is left guessing.
Every balance, every repayment, on record
Each amount owed and each repayment is logged against the right person. You always know the real position: who owes you, who you've helped, and how much is still outstanding.

Questions about Customer Credit and Staff Advances
How does pay later work at the counter?
Choose Loan as the payment method for the part the customer owes, and Hajza records it as a balance on them. Take repayments whenever they pay, in cash, by card or by bank transfer, in full or in parts.
Can I give staff an advance?
Yes. Record a loan to a staff member, then log each repayment as it is made. The outstanding balance shows on their record until it reaches zero.
What happens when a balance is paid off?
It is marked cleared automatically, with the date, and stays on record. Only a cleared loan can be deleted, so an outstanding balance can never disappear by accident.
Do repayments count as sales?
No. A repayment is recorded in the shift it was taken and its cash is counted in the drawer, but it is not counted as a sale, because the sale was already recorded when the credit was given.
