From a paper register to a book the committee can trust
Record every donation as it comes
Cash in the box, a bank transfer, a pledge honoured: log it in a moment with its category, the date and a note of who it was from or what it was for. Every rupee that comes in is on the record, so nothing is remembered wrong.
Record every expense the same simple way
Utility bills, repairs, an imam's stipend, a charity payout: record what goes out just as easily. Group expenses however you file them, so at any point you can see where the money actually went.
The balance is right there, for anyone to see
Income minus expenses, always current, always on screen. When a trustee or a donor asks how much is in the fund, the answer is one glance away, not an evening with a calculator. Trust comes from numbers anyone can check.

Questions about Masjid and Charity Ledger
Is the masjid ledger really free?
Yes. A masjid or charity is not billed for Hajza: there is no subscription, no add-on and no trial that runs out.
How do we get started?
Get in touch. A masjid ledger is set up for you by the Hajza team rather than through the public sign-up, which is for businesses. Message us on WhatsApp or through the contact page.
What can we record?
Contributions and expenses, each with a category, an amount, a date and an optional note. Starter categories such as Friday Collection, Eid Collection and General Donation are set up for you, and you can add your own.
How do we record an advance to the imam?
The ledger has no separate loans feature. Record the advance as an expense under Loan / Advance, and its repayment as a contribution under Loan Repayment, so the balance stays right.
Does a masjid account include bookings or a POS?
No. A masjid account shows only the ledger: the balance, contributions, expenses and their categories, with none of a shop's features in the way.
